Signs Your LiftMaster Opener Logic Board Is Failing

• Opener won’t respond to wall button or remotes, but the outlet has power. This is the most common first sign, and it usually means the board’s receiver circuit or power-supply section has failed. When a board’s relay stops clicking entirely, the motor won’t get the signal to start.
• Door opens or closes partway and reverses for no reason. If the sensors are clean and aligned, a board that’s misreading the travel limits or force settings will behave exactly like this. We see it on units that have survived a few Irvine power surges over the years.
